Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0319681A2] A device according to the invention for the heat treatment, in particular drying and condensing, of a continuously transported, broad running textile web, contains a heating zone with a number of essentially upright treatment ducts delimited by impact jet nozzle cases, and arranged after this heating zone a dwell zone of hot flue type, both zones being assigned first and second hot-air blower devices in order on the one hand to heat the textile web to a required temperature in the heating zone and on the other hand to keep the textile web at the treatment temperature in the dwell zone. For a particularly specific, economical and rapidly adaptable heating of the textile web, the heating zone is separated by a partition from the immediately following dwell zone, and the first hot-air blower device for the heating zone can be controlled and adjusted with the effect of a variable hot-air speed and/or quantity.
