[origin: DE3838513A1] The panel-type radiator has one or more heating plate(s) (1) assembled on two profiled shells (3, 4) each. An essentially flat, smooth covering (cladding, masking) plate (10) is bonded on to the visible side of the heating plate (1). The adhesive layer (9) located between the heating plate (1) and covering plate (10) remains elastic after being cured. The panel-type radiator can be used in dwellings and offices because of its smooth visible surface. <IMAGE>
