So that a hand power tool, in particular an angle grinder, with a drive, a work spindle having a tool clamping device, and a safety device which can be operated from outside a power tool housing and by means of which the tool clamping device can be shifted from a manually releasable position into a manually non-releasable position clamping the tool - and vice versa - is improved in such a way that, in the simplest possible design, rotation of the work spindle is not possible when releasing or manually tightening the tool clamping device, it is proposed that a locking device be provided for fixing the work spindle on the power tool housing in such a way as to be locked in terms of rotation, which locking device, when the drive is switched off and in the position of the safety device in which the tool clamping device can be manually released, automatically locks the work spindle in terms of rotation and vice versa. <IMAGE>

Um eine Handwerkzeugmaschine, insbesondere Winkelschleifer, mit einem Antrieb, mit einer eine Werkzeugeinspannung aufweisenden Arbeitsspindel und mit einer von außerhalb eines Gerätegehäuses bedienbaren Sicherungseinrichtung, mittels welcher die Werkzeugeinspannung von einer manuell lösbaren in eine manuell nicht lösbare, das Werkzeug spannende Stellung - und umgekehrt - überführbar ist, so zu verbessern, daß bei konstruktiv möglichst einfachem Aufbau ein Verdrehen der Arbeitsspindel beim Lösen oder manuellen Festziehen der Werkzeugeinspannung nicht möglich ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß eine Arretierungsvorrichtung zur drehfesten Fixierung der Arbeitsspindel am Gerätegehäuse vorgesehen ist, welche bei ausgeschaltetem Antrieb und in der die Werkzeugeinspannung manuell lösbaren Stellung der Sicherungseinrichtung automatisch die Arbeitsspindel drehfest arretiert und umgekehrt.
