[origin: JPH01194280A] PURPOSE: To simplify the manufacture of a contact element by punching a metal member from a nearly flat metal strip, then applying proper heat treatment to a material made of beryllium copper or the like. CONSTITUTION: When a scrap 33 is punched by a punch 30 cooperating with a mold cavity 31, the inside contour line 32 of the deformable portion 11 of a contact element 1c is formed. The whole outside contour line 36 of the contact element 1c is formed by a punch 34 cooperating with a mold cavity 35. The contact element 1c is punched synchronously with the cycle of the advance process of the punches 30, 34. Heat treatment is applied as required to a member made of beryllium copper or the like to give elasticity. All stages can be implemented by the same punching press, no folding operation or no deflecting operation is required, and manufacture is simplified.

L'organe de contact électrique (1c) est contitué d'une pièce de métal pratiquement plane, obtenue par découpage ou poinçonnage, le contour de la partie (11) de cet organe (1c) qui assure le contact avec un organe de contact associé (douille 16, 17, 18, carte de circuits imprimés, etc...) étant tel qu'il permette à cette partie (11) d'être comprimée élatiquement dan son plan, éventuellement après un traitement du métal de cette pièce (cuivre au béryllium ou analogue) lui assurant, de façon connue, l' élasticité nécessaire après le opérations de découpage ou poinçonnage.
