[origin: EP0320583A1] With this call-registering keyboard and display device, calls for desired floors can be input without a registering key having to be pressed after a correct input or without a correction key having to be pressed after an incorrect input. Here, a call input is only possible when a proximity switch (28) connected to the keyboard (20) is activated. Upon deactivation of the proximity switch (28), a delay circuit (31) causes the call to be automatically registered. An incorrectly input call is automatically cancelled by means of a second control circuit (61), in which case a second display element (60) in the form of a double question mark lights up at the same time. A third display element arranged in the same display field and signalling the selected lift as well as a fourth and fifth display element signalling the position of the selected lift relative to the actuated keyboard (20) are connected to a group control device via further control circuits. During the call assignment the third and the relevant fourth or fifth display elements are activated, which then light up together with a first display element signalling the selected floor and already activated during the call input. <IMAGE>
