[origin: EP0320792A2] The invention relates to a money-operated gaming machine with a gaming system unit, an indicator device for win and game symbols, a win-plan unit for a win plan according to symbol combinations, a money acceptance unit, a money storage unit and a money dispensing unit. The money acceptance unit can accept various banknotes and coins of at least two different currencies. The money storage unit can store notes and coins of at least two different currencies, separated according to particular types. The money dispensing unit can pay out coins of at least two different currencies. The gaming system unit and the win-plan unit are designed for one of the acceptable currencies as the gaming currency. Accepted amounts in a currency differing from this, but nevertheless acceptable are changed to the gaming currency by means of a currency-changing device and are indicated as credit on the gaming-currency credit indicator.
