The invention relates to a roller mill for milling within a bed of material and to a method for comminuting brittle material for milling, measures being provided by means of which longitudinal oscillations, running transversely to the roller gap, of the moveable roller are damped. In this way, interfering resonant oscillations are avoided.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gutbett-Walzenmühle sowie ein Verfahren zur Zerkleinerung von sprödem Mahlgut, wobei Maßnahmen vorgesehen sind, durch die quer zum Walzenspalt verlaufende Lontitudinalschwingungen der beweglichen Walze gedämpft werden. Hierdurch werden störende Resonanzschwingungen vermieden.
