A vehicle according to the invention comprises a resistant hull (1) capable of containing two men and which is provided with a peripheral transparent viewing window. This hull is fixed by elastic connections to a tubular structure (2) which carries four ballast tanks (3) in its upper part, two screw propellers (4), and a box (5) containing batteries, bottles of oxygen for breathing and bottles of compressed air for emptying the ballast tanks, a reservoir serving as an adjustable ballast tank and a jettisonable ballast which can be oriented so as to enable the trim of the vehicle to be varied. <??>One application is the construction of small submersible vehicles which can be used by two people to observe the sea bed. <IMAGE>

L'invention a pour objet des véhicules submersibles habités et autopropulsés pour effectuer des promenades sous-marines. Un véhicule selon l'invention comporte une coque résistante (1) pouvant contenir deux hommes qui est munie d'un hublot transparent périphérique. Cette coque est fixée par des liaisons élastiques sur une structure tubulaire (2) qui porte quatre ballasts (3) à sa partie supérieure, deux propulseurs à hélice (4), un caisson (5) contenant des batteries, des bouteilles d'oxygène pour la respiration et d'air comprimé pour vider les ballasts, un réservoir servant de ballast réglable et un lest largable qui est orientable pour permettre de faire varier l'assiette du véhicule. Une application est la construction de petits véhicules submersibles pouvant être utilisés par deux personnes pour l'observation des fonds sous-marins.
