[origin: WO8807111A1] On providing a durable moisture barrier on concrete surfaces and the like the superficial layer is first dried deeply under forced blowing on of a drying medium having a low relative humidity, preferably hot compressed air, whereupon a deep impregnation agent, having the ability to react with moisture and components of the concrete to form a sealing gel, is added and is permitted to be absorbed by the superficial layer and to react therein. The just mentioned steps, if desired preceded by a water soaking, may be repeated close to each other, unto there is no noticeable tendency to absorption of the impregnation agent.

Lorsqu'il s'agit de disposer une protection durable contre l'humidité sur des surfaces en béton et similaires, la couche superficielle est d'abord séchée en profondeur par le soufflage sous pression d'un milieu de séchage présentant un degré d'humidité relative faible et constitué de préférence par de l'air chaud comprimé. Un agent d'imprégnation en profondeur, capable de réagir avec l'humidité et les composants du béton afin de former un gel d'étanchéité, est ensuite ajouté et est amené à être absorbé par la couche superficielle, dans laquelle il réagit. Les étapes mentionnées ci-dessus, qu'on fait précéder, si on le désire, d'une imbibition à l'eau, peuvent être répétées à intervalles rapprochés, aussi longtemps qu'aucune tendance sensible à l'absorption de l'agent d'imprégnation ne se manifeste.
