[origin: FR2602820A1] Safety valve for oil wells and tools for installing or withdrawing it. This valve comprises a movable shutter member 11, an internal tubular slide 9, a spring 10 for returning the slide upwards, means for hydraulically moving the slide downwards by pressurising a control fluid, a system for anchoring the valve in a receptacle-sleeve 1 and seals 15, 16 in contact with the latter. The anchoring system is a mechanical system with hydraulic stressing, comprising a tubular sliding-shaft/piston 58 which is moved upwards by the control fluid, and a locking socket 55 located above the sliding-shaft/piston and pushed back upwards by the latter in order to operate and lock anchoring catches 54 provided in a floating manner in the body of the bolt. <IMAGE>
