[origin: EP0321799A1] The suspended slatted hanging made of slats (3) connected in an articulated manner is guided in lateral guides (1) and can be raised and lowered with a lifting shaft (6) situated in parallel above the slats (3). To simplify the construction and to increase operational reliability, it is proposed that, in prolongation of the lateral guides (1), there is mounted on the lifting shaft (6) in each case a lifting drum (7) with a lifting band (8) which can be wound up and unwound. The lifting bands (8) are guided in the lateral guides (1) to the lowest slat (3) which engages therein with stubs (4) and is suspended pivotably on the lifting bands (8). Furthermore, counting from the lowest slat (3), every second slat (3) engages with terminal stubs (4) in the lateral guides, which are pivotably and vertically displaceable therein. <IMAGE>
