The invention relates to a centrifugal tumbling grinding machine with a static container having a filling opening and a rotary plate rotatable relative to the container for circulating the container contents. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fliehkraft-Gleitschleifmaschine mit ruhendem, eine Einfüllöffnung aufweisendem Behälter und relativ dazu rotierendem Drehteller zur Umwälzung des Behälterinhaltes. Sie schlägt insbesondere zur Erzielung eines hohen Gesamtwirkungsgrades vor daß der sich in liegender Anordnung erstreckende, die Einfüllöffnung (27) an der Mantelwand aufweisende Behälter (4) an beiden Stirnenden verschlossen ist und daß mindestens eine der beiden Verschlußwände den Drehteller (5,6) bildet.
