[origin: US4905467A] Machine for continuous twisting and cabling of filaments of the type including a predetermined number of work positions disposed on a common support frame (4), each work position including, taken in order according to the process of transformation of the filaments: a feeding and twisting section (1) for each of the elementary filaments, on each side of the machine; means (2) for the return and joining of a predetermined number of elementary filaments thus twisted and; a cabling and winding section (3); characterized in that the cabling and winding section (3) is common to the two feeding and twisting sections (1) and is constituted by spindles disposed side by side in the vertical plane of symmetry (AA) passing between the two feeding and twisting sections (1).

Machine de retordage et de câblage de fils en continu du type comportant un nombre prédéterminé de positions de travail disposées sur un bâti support commun (4), chaque position de travail comportant, si on suit le processus de transformation des fils : - une section d'alimentation et de retordage (1) pour chacun des fils élémentaires de chaque côté de la machine ; - des moyens de renvoi et de jonction (2) d'un nombre prédéterminé de fils élémentaires ainsi retordus; - une section de câblage et de renvidage (3), caractérisée en ce que la section de câblage et de renvidage (3) est commune aux deux sections d'alimentation et de retordage (1) et est constituée de broches disposées côte à côte, verticalement, et ce dans le plan vertical de symétrie AA passant entre les deux sections d'alimentation et de retordage (1).
