[origin: WO8801674A1] Window raising device electrically and manually operated, of simple construction and providing for a firm retention of the window in order to obtain a burglar-proof window. A carriage (22) fixed to the window (23) and sliding in a guide (1) is secured at both ends of a flat belt (8) which slides on two return pads (6 and 7) made of synthetic material. Said belt is perforated or toothed in its portion passing on a toothed drum (9). Said drum is slidingly mounted on a gear of a main sliding shaft which traverses an electrically driving mechanism (11). The sliding of the main shaft disengages the latter from the motor drive but does not disengage its gear from the gun (9) in order to make possible a manual drive. The device is usable in a door or in a fixed part of a motor vehicle.

Dispositif lève-vitre à entraînement motorisé et manuel qui présente une construction simple et assure une solide retenue de la vitre contre les tentatives d'ouverture forcée. Un chariot (22) fixé à la vitre (23) et coulissant dans un guide (1) est fixé aux deux extrémités d'une courroie plate (8) qui glisse sur deux patins de renvoi (6 et 7) en matière synthétique. Cette courroie est perforée ou crantée dans sa partie passant sur un tambour denté (9). Celui-ci est monté de manière coulissante sur un pignon denté d'un axe principal coulissant qui traverse un mécanisme (11) d'entraînement motorisé. Le coulissement de l'axe principal dégage celui-ci de l'entraînement motorisé, mais ne dégage pas son pignon du tambour (9), afin de permettre un entraînement manuel. Le dispositif est utilisable dans une portière ou dans une partie fixe d'un véhicule.
