[origin: EP0322506A2] The suspended filing system consists of document bearers having in each case at least one suspension fitting and of at least one suspension bearer for suspending the document bearers. Each suspension fitting, attached to the upper edge of the document bearer, has a recess with a slot-shaped region formed by a tongue. Said slot-shaped region is composed of a partial region of greater width and an adjoining partial region of reduced width. The suspension element has at least two profile portions, a first one of which corresponds in its length and width to the partial region of the suspension fitting of reduced width and a second profile portion corresponds in its length and width to the partial region of the suspension fitting of greater width, with the result that a simplified pushing-on of the respective suspension fitting onto the suspension element is possible, but, at the same time, a form-fit is produced between the suspension fitting and the suspension element. <IMAGE>
