With ovens, particularly built-in ovens, there is the problem that fat-containing cooking fumes passing out from the cooking chamber condense on adjacent parts of furniture. In known ovens, therefore, so-called afterburners (catalytic self-cleaning) are placed in the fume flow path, or else fat filters, directly in an opening in the cooking chamber. Furthermore, reduction in fume condensation is attempted by mixing the hot fumes with cooler air from the vicinity of the cooking chamber by means of a cooling blower, thus reducing the temperature of the fumes. By means of the innovation, a still more efficient removal of the fat components of the fumes is accomplished by passing the mixed air through a high surface area, easily changeable fat filter. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei Backöfen, insbesondere bei Einbaubacköfen besteht das Problem, daß der aus dem Garraum abgeführte fetthaltige Wrasen sich an angrenzenden Möbelteilen niederschlägt. Bei bekannten Backöfen werden deshalb in den Wrasenführungsweg sogenannte Nachverbrenner (katalytische Selbstreinigung) oder aber unmittelbar in einer Garraumöffnung Fettfilter eingesetzt. Ferner versucht man die Kondensation des Wrasens zu vermindern durch Vermischung des heißen Wrasens mit kühlerer Luft aus der Umgebung des Garraumes mittels Kühlgebläse, wodurch die Temperatur des Wrasens herabgesetzt wird. Durch die Neuerung wird eine noch wirksamere Entfernung der Fettbestandteile des Wrasens erreicht, indem die Mischluft über einen großflächigen, leicht auswechselbaren Fettfilter (13) geleitet wird.
