Chair with a seat and back forming a continuous surface, characterised by the fact that it is composed of several identical blanks (1) in corrugated cardboard or in similar flat materials, having a shape corresponding to the shape of the chair in lateral elevation and having on their periphery a multitude of slots (3) facing towards the inside of the blank, and of a multitude of crosspieces (2) in corrugated cardboard or in similar materials, folded into a U-shaped profile, having a length corresponding to the width of the chair and having, in their two flanges, slots extending from the ends of the flanges in the direction of the web perpendicularly to the length of the crosspieces, the said slots being distributed over the length of the crosspieces and their number corresponding to that of the blanks. <IMAGE>

Siège à assise et dossier formant une surface continue, caractérisé par le fait qu'il se compose de plusieurs flans (1) identiques en carton ondulé ou en des matériaux plats analogues, ayant une forme correspondant à la forme du siège en élévation latérales et présentant sur leur pourtour une multitude de fentes (3) dirigées vers l'intérieur du flan, et d'une multitude de traverses (2) en carton ondulé ou en des matériaux analogues, pliées suivant un profil en U, ayant une longueur correspondant à la largeur du siège et présentant dans leurs deux ailes des fentes s'étendant depuis les extrémités des ailes en direction de l'âme perpendiculairement à la longueur des traverses, lesdites fentes étant réparties sur la longueur des traverses et leur nombre correspondant à celui des flans.
