[origin: EP0323356A1] The device comprises a central distributor box (1) which has an inlet opening for fresh or recycled air in one of its walls and a number of outlet openings for conditioned air in at least one other wall and means (3) for creating, inside this box, an excess air pressure. To facilitate the construction and the installation of the device, it comprises a number of air-conditioning batteries (2) fixed, outside the central box (1), on the wall or walls of this central box, which are pierced with outlet openings for conditioned air from the box, respectively around these outlet openings, each of these air-conditioning batteries (2) comprising an external casing (4) which is open at both ends and fixed, at a first end, to the box (1) around the outlet opening for conditioned air pierced in the wall (1a) of this box, and communicates via its second end with a room to be heated or cooled, and each casing (4) contains individual heating and/or cooling means (5) for the air. <IMAGE>
