[origin: EP0323384A2] The centrifugal pump comrpises an electric motor with horizontal shaft and a coaxial pump body with suction and delivery chambers. The latter contains a rotor turning in a diffuser, while the suctionc chamber contains a Begel-type hydrog-ejector with injection nozzle and Venturi-type diffusion pipe. A thrid chamber contiguous to the external face of the diffuser is separated rated from the delivery chamber by a partition disc with a port in the top half curving through slightly less than 180 deg.A curved deflector vane on the inside disc face leads from its top half edge to a point on the top edge of the part. It forces the water from the diffuser to flow in a centrifugal pattern inside the third chamber, so as to drive any entrained air bubles out through the port as they rise.
