Abstract (en)

The coin (4) introduced into the insertion slot (1) of a coin checker rolls over the yielding rocker (7), with the result that the hammer (9) knocks against the coin via the lever (8). The coin thereby made to oscillate subsequently falls freely through the shaft (13). As it flies past, the microphone (14) measures the frequency of the oscillations and transmits the value to the electronics (15) which check this. If it agrees with an entered standard value, the sorting switch (18) opens the way into the shaft (19) leading to the intermediate cash box. Otherwise, the coin passes into the separating channel (21). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die in den Einwurfschlitz (1) eines Münzprüfers eingebrachte Münze (4) rollt über die nachgebende Wippe (7), wodurch über den Hebel (8) der Hammer (9) einen Schlag gegen die Münze ausführt. Die solcherart zum Schwingen gebrachte Münze fällt anschliessend in freiem Fall durch den Schacht (13). Beim Vorbeiflug misst das Mikrophon (14) die Frequenz der Schwingungen und gibt den Wert an die Elektronik (15) weiter, welche denselben prüft. Stimmt er mit einem eingegebenen Richtwert überein, dann gibt die Sortierweiche (18) den Weg in den Schacht (19) zur Zwischenkasse frei. Andernfalls gelangt die Münze in den Ausscheidungskanal (21).
