[origin: WO8900267A1] The device (1) comprises at least one duct (3) perforated by orifices (17) and placed inside an open box (2) filled with a non-combustible material forming a diffusion bed. A primary gas-air mixture is supplied to the duct (3) by a feed device (4) connected to a gas pipe (5). The device comprises secondary air inlets (16) towards the upper part of the diffusion bed (25), consisting in particular of orifices provided in a rim (10) around the edge of the box (2). The invention is applicable to a closed-hearth fireplace where the gas burns around non-combustible elements which have the appearance of logs of wood.

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif formant brûleur à gaz. Le dispositif (1) comprend au moins un conduit (3) percé d'orifices (17) et placé à l'intérieur d'un caisson ouvert (2) rempli d'un matériau non combustible (25) formant un lit de diffusion. Le conduit (3) est alimenté par un mélange gaz-air primaire fourni par un dispositif d'alimentation (4) relié à une conduite de gaz (5). Le dispositif (1) comprend des arrivées d'air secondaires (16), vers la partie supérieure du lit de diffusion (25), formées notamment par des orifices prévus dans un rebord (10) qui borde le caisson (2). L'invention s'applique à une cheminée à foyer fermé où le gaz brûle autour d'éléments non combustibles ayant l'apparence de bûches de bois.
