[origin: EP0323567A2] A plug holder for a flat plug connection, especially for the sleeve or coupling part of the connection. In order to permit the extraction of a flat plug sleeve (2) from the associated flat plug (3) only after a lock has been released, the plug holder (1) has, outside the plug sleeve axis, both a latching hook (12) projecting in its direction and a guide rail (14), running parallel to this latching hook (12). The guide rail (14) is designed as a slot-shaped recess for a preferably plate-shaped projection (insulating plate 10) of the housing (9) holding the flat plug, so that the insulating plate (10) rests in a positively locking manner on the rear edge (15) of the guide rail (14). <IMAGE>
