[origin: EP0323814A2] The spanner for tightening the nuts of a vice consists of an inner bush (1) with pins (5) projecting axially from its end face. These pins are mounted in positions, which correspond to the holes in the end face of the nut. The bush is provided with radial arms (3) which form a hand grip. The bush rotates in the bore of a larger bush (2). This larger bush (2) has projections on its end face to locate it on the vice body. The larger bush is also provided with radial arms (4) which form a hand grip. The inner ends of the second radial arms engage a circumferential groove (6) in the inner bush and so hold the two bushes together.
