Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0323825A2] Disconnecting switches, especially those in a multi-pin design, have a base frame on whose upper side bearing elements for supporting insulators are mounted or supporting insulators are mounted themselves. A base frame is shown and described consisting of two profile limbs located at the top, facing one another, and profile rails arranged parallel to one another, the two profile rails being unified by means of, on the one hand, bearing elements attached to the upper profile limbs and, on the other hand, attachment straps connected to the vertical profile webs, to form a torsionally stiff frame perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the profile rails. The attachment straps are of different design so that the attachment dimensions can be matched to the installation characteristics. <IMAGE>
