Convertible wind screen consisting of panels articulated together by hinges, and in which the panels comprise a rigid frame (1) over which a decorative flexible surface (10) is stretched, characterised: - on the one hand, in that the rigid frame (1) consists of two uprights (2, 3), connected by crosspieces (4, 5), the said uprights (2, 3) having a profiled U-shaped section whose arms (6, 7) face outwards, each profile (2, 3) comprising a second U-shaped profile (8, 9), homothetic to the first, inserted in the latter so as to grip the decorative surface (10); - and, on the other hand, in that the removable decorative surface (10), inserted into the gap (12') formed between the two profiles (3, 9) of the second upright (3) of the first panel (A), is inserted, also without interruption, into the gap (12'') of the second following panel (B), such that the decorative surface (10) thus forms an articulation hinge between two successive panels (A, B). <IMAGE>

Ecran paravent transformable constitué de panneaux articulés entre eux par des charnières, et dans lequel les panneaux comportent un cadre rigide (1) sur lequel est tendue une surface souple (10) décorative, caractérisé : - d'une part, en ce que le cadre rigide (1) est consituté de deux montants (2,3), reliés par des traverses (4,5), lesdits montants (2,3) ayant une section profilée en U dont les branches (6,7) sont dirigées vers l'extérieur, chaque profilé (2,3) comportant un second profilé en U (8,9) homothétique au premier, inséré dans celui-ci de manière à serrer la surface décorative (10); - et d'autre part, en ce que la surface décorative amovible (10), insérée dans l'interstice (12') formé entre les deux profilés (3,9) du second montant (3) du premier panneau (A) est inserée également sans solution de continuité dans l'interstice (12") du second panneau (B) suivant, de sorte que la surface décorative (10) forme ainsi charnière d'articulation entre deux panneaux (A,B) successifs.
