Abstract (en)
The line of tiles (31) adjoining the rainwater gutter (26) of a sloping roof are formed with the lower half (31b) of the tile bent downwards at an angle which is steeper than the roof angle. The line of the bend is parallel to the upper and lower edges of the tile. This increased slope of the lower half of the tile directs rainwater, which runs off the roof, into the gutter. This reduces the risk of the rainwater being directed over the edge of the gutter during very heavy rainfall.

Ein Trauf-Dachfalzziegel (31), der in seinem Längsverlauf um eine zu seinem unteren Rand zumindest annähernd parallele Linie (32) nach unten abgewinkelt ist, wobei der Winkel der Abwinkelung vorzugsweise zwischen 20 und 45° beträgt. Hierdurch wird ein zusätzlicher Schutz der Traufbohle (24) sowie weiterer Teile der Traufkonstruktion, z.B. mittels eines Traufbleches, unnötig und die Traufziegel (31) können eine anschließende Dachrinne (26) überragen, ohne daß die Gefahr eines Überschießens von Dachwasser bei Starkregenanfall besteht.
