Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0324176A2] The present invention relates to a light fixture which can be secured under tension between floor and ceiling of a room (so-called tensioned light fixture). The light fixture has a pair of rod-shaped conductor rails (42, 43), which conduct low voltage and are not insulated over the greater part of the length. These conductor rails (42, 43) are accommodated in the lower section by a tubular lower part (40) and in the upper section by a tubular upper part (10). The tubular upper part (10) of the light fixture can be displaced in the direction of the arrow (54) towards the conductor rails (42, 43) against the force of a spring, the conductor rails being guided in the upper part of the light fixture. Lamps (53) can be clamped to the low-voltage current rails (42, 43) in any position with the aid of fittings (52). <IMAGE>
