[origin: EP0324304A1] The invention relates to metallic shelving of the tubular type, intended, especially, for industrial and professional storage. According to the invention, the metallic shelving is formed of profiled uprights (3) joined by longitudinal members (5) and crosspieces (6) which support storage shelf panels. The crosspieces (6) have means for fastening on the uprights (3) and the longitudinal members (5) have available support means which fit into the said fastening means in order to be supported by the latter. Any modification of the architecture of the metallic shelving can take place without dismantling the existing one. The invention relates principally to manufacturers of office- and shop-fitting equipment. <IMAGE>
