Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0324317A1] The unsupported length of a fabric web (2) being removed from a pin tenter (8) is minimised by having a lift-off roll (14) which is adjustable in the direction of the tensioning chains (12) so as to make it possible to set the smallest possible distance between the surface of the lift-off roll (14) and the pin tips (12c). The lift-off roll (14) is pushed into a lower end position against an abutment (23) by a push-down roll (15) so that the fabric web (2) can be wrapped around the lift-off roll in a tight strand of guiding. <IMAGE>
