[origin: EP0324320A2] A box (10), particularly for confectionery products, comprises a cardboard body (12) with a flat base wall (14) and a double-walled peripheral frame (16), and a shaped tray (18) for containing the products which is adapted to be inserted in the space between the base wall (14) and the frame (16). The box (10) further includes a tray-like transparent cover (20) having a peripheral wall (20a) which is adapted to be inserted between the containing tray (18) and the inner wall (16a) of the frame (16), the cover (20) having on its perimetral wall (20a) shaped projections (22) corresponding in shape to apertures (A) of the frame (16), which are used for the automatic forming of the box, to fix the cover (20) and the tray (18) to the body (12) of the box (10).
