Using a developer solution system consisting of a replenishing solution and a ready-to-use developer solution made up therewith, which contains the following constituents in the indicated quantities per l of aqueous solution and, if appropriate, further conventional constituents: 3 - 15 g of the colour developer compound of the formula <IMAGE> or a corresponding quantity of salts thereof, 8 - 35 g of PO4<3>-ions, at least 0.2 g of antioxidant and 2.1 - 4.2 g of KBr, which has been adjusted to a pH from 10.5 to 12.5, the regeneration quota being 50 to 120 ml/m<2> of developed material and the replenishing solution containing the individual constituents in such a concentration that, at the indicated regeneration quota, the developer solution in use contains the constituents indicated above always in the quantities indicated, development in accordance with the specification is achieved, without an overflow arising.

Mit einem Entwicklungslösungssystem aus einer Nachfülllösung und einer damit ergänzten gebrauchsfertigen Entwicklerlösung, die die folgenden Bestandteile in den angegebenen Mengen pro 1 wäßriger Lösung sowie gegebenenfalls weitere übliche Bestandteile enthält: 3 - 15 g der Farbentwicklerverbindung der Formel <IMAGE> oder einer entsprechenden Menge von deren Salzen, 8 - 35 g PO4³-Ionen wenigstens 0,2 g Oxidationsschutzmittel und 2,1 - 4,2 g KBr und auf einem pH-Wert von 10,5 bis 12,5 eingestellt ist, wobei die Regenierquote 50 bis 120 ml/m² entwickeltes Material beträgt und die Nachfüllösung die einzelnen Bestandteile in einer Konzentration enthält, daß bei der angegebenen Regenierquote die Entwicklerlösung im Gebrauch die oben angegebenen Bestandteile stets in den angegebenen Mengen enthält, erreicht man eine typgerechte Entwicklung, ohne daß ein Überlauf entsteht.
