Abstract (en)
A gas appliance is connected to a gas supply pipe (8) by a valve. The valve body (3) has a horizontal bore and a vertical bore which do not intersect each other. The horizontal bore has a screw thread at each end to enable it to be fitted in the gas supply pipeline. The vertical bore receives a rotatable tapered plug (5). In one position of the plug, the outlet from the horizontal bore is shut off. In the other position the outlet from the horizontal bore is shut off. In the other position the outlet from the horizontal bore is connected to the outlet (9) in the lower part of the valve body. This outlet is connected to the gas appliance.

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Komplex aus Hähnen oder Ventilen, die für jedes Gas verwendbar sind, und zwar in einer unbestimmten Anzahl je nach den zu versorgenden Brennern. Die besagten Ventile sind über Leitungen von jeglicher beliebigen Länge miteinander verbunden, um den Gesamtkomplex jedem gegebenen Anwendungsfall anzupassen. Der Anschluß oder die Verbindung erfolgt über Schnelldruck-Verschlüsse, und es entsteht insgesamt ein in sich geschlossenes Ganzes, das sämtliche Gasversorgungsventile einschließt.
