Container with a horizontal structure, comprising at least two compartments (1-2) insulated from each other and from the exterior environment by means (4)-(5) permitting, during the sterilization operation, gaseous migration between the compartments and the checking of this migration at the end of the sterilization heat treatment. By virtue of which, the container used for the packaging, sterilization and preservation of the foodstuffs contained therein permits the preparation of cooked dishes made up of several ingredients, with aromatic flavour exchange during the sterilization treatment and then the totally separate preservation of the various elements up to the time of consumption. <IMAGE>

Récipient à structure horizontale comportant au moins deux compartiments (1-2) isolés l'un de l'autre et du milieu extérieur par des moyens (4)-(5) permettant pendant l'opération de stérilisation la migration gazeuse entre les compartiments et l'arrêt de cette migration à la fin du traitement thermique de stérilisation. Grâce à quoi le récipient utilisé pour le conditionnement, la stérilisation, et la conservation des aliments qu'il renferme, permet l'élaboration de plats cuisinés à plusieurs composants, avec échange arômatique pendant le traitement de stérilisation, puis la conservation totalement séparée des différents éléments jusqu'à la consommation.
