Abstract (en)
The safety ski binding has a first and a second jaw for holding a ski boot on a ski. The first jaw has a contactor which is actuated when predetermined forces are reached, which forces are transmitted from the ski boot to the first jaw in at least two planes located perpendicular to one another. To achieve a design which is simple in construction and reliable in function, it is proposed that the first jaw has a sole holder (6) which is supported on the side away from the ski boot on a bolt (13), which is parallel to a transverse axle (5) and is held on the base part (2) fixed to the ski, in such a way that it can swivel away from the ski boot by a small amount from its normal position counter to spring force and that it (6) is displaceable axially by a small amount from its normal position towards both sides counter to spring force on the transverse axle (5). The bolt (13) bears a control lever (21), which actuates the contactor and for which three carriers are provided so that the control lever (21) can follow both an axial movement and a rotary movement of the sole holder (6). <IMAGE>

Die Sicherheits-Skibindung besitzt zum Halten eines Skischuhs auf einem Ski einen ersten und einen zweiten Backen. Der erste Backen weist einen Kontaktgeber auf, der bei Erreichen vorgegebener Kräfte betätigt wird, die in mindestens zwei rechtwinkelig zueinander liegenden Ebenen vom Skischuh auf den ersten Backen übertragen werden. Zur Erzielung einer im Aufbau einfachen und funktionssicheren Konstruktion wird vorgeschlagen, daß der erste Backen einen Sohlenhalter (6) besitzt, der sich auf der dem Skischuh abgelegenen Seite an einem einer Querachse (5) parallelen, an dem skifesten Grundteil (2) gehaltenen Bolzen (13) derart abstützt, daß er aus seiner Normalstellung heraus entgegen Federkraft um ein geringes Maß vom Skischuh wegschwenken kann, und daß er (6) auf der Querachse (5) aus seiner Normalstellung heraus axial um ein geringes Maß nach beiden Seiten hin entgegen Federkraft verschiebbar ist. Der Bolzen (13) trägt einen den Kontaktgeber betätigenden Steuerhebel (21), für den drei Mitnehmer vorgesehen sind, so daß der Steuerhebel (21) sowohl einer axialen Bewegung als auch einer Drehbewegung des Sohlenhalters (6) folgen kann.
