[origin: US4904199A] The invention relates to a support for a detachable junction between at least two cables each one equipped with a connecting socket. According to the invention, this support comprises: a box (1,6,7,16) with a cover (17) for receiving the two joined sockets; first stop means (9) to oppose the separation of the sockets; a lock (19) with a key (22) mounted on the cover and a latch (24) mounted on the box, the lock being arranged for enabling the operation of the key and its release only when the latch cooperates with the said lock, whereas the latch can cooperate with the lock, only when the cover is in a closed position, and second stop means (31,32) arranged in such a way that in case at least one of the sockets is missing, it opposes the closing of the box. Application to the cable support on works site.

L'invention concerne un support pour une jonction démontable entre au moins deux câbles équipés chacun d'une prise de raccordement. Selon l'invention, ce support comprend : - un boîtier (1,6,7,16) muni d'un couvercle (17) pour recevoir les deux prises réunies ; - des premiers moyens de butée (9) pour s'opposer à la séparation des prises ; - un verrou (19) à clé (22) monté sur le couvercle et un loquet (24) monté sur le boîtier, le verrou étant agencé pour autoriser la manoeuvre de la clé et son retrait seulement lorsque le loquet coopère avec lui, le loquet ne pouvant coopérer avec le verrou que lorsque le couvercle est dans une position de fermeture; et - des seconds moyens de butée (31, 32) agencés de façon qu'en cas d'absence de l'une au moins des prises, ils s'opposent à la fermeture du boîtier.
