[origin: EP0325783A1] A merry-go-round, wherein passenger carriers (5), situated at the ends of passenger extension arms (3), are intended to execute an undulating movement. In order to simplify the complexity in terms of the transmission and to increase the economic efficiency of the merry-go-round, provision is made for the passenger extension arms (3) to be linked on the one hand to a lower live ring (2) and, on the other hand, via connecting rods (10) to an upper live ring (11) and for the upper live ring (11) to be mounted on a swivel frame (13). Starting from the main axis (25) of the merry-go-round, this swivel frame (13) extends in the radial direction up to a swivel bearing (15) which is located in the vicinity of the attachment point (12) of the connecting rods (10) to the upper live ring (11). The swivel bearing (15) belongs to an extension arm (14) which is mounted on the merry-go-round so as to be rotatable about the main axis (25).
