[origin: EP0326116A1] The contact arrangement has a contact spring (5) which is prestressed against a supporting edge (4a) of an operating device (4) by a prestressing kink (10). The prestressing kink (10) runs obliquely at an angle of 0 to 30 DEG with respect to the supporting edge (4a), producing rolling-off at the contact point. The contact arrangement is particularly advantageous for the switching of high load currents since, as a result of the rolling-off at the contact point, the welding tendency is reduced and easier separation of the contact on opening is achieved with little welding. <IMAGE>
