A method for manufacturing self-adhesive labels, having a label sheet coated on its back with adhesive and having an adhesive-repellent carrier sheet, the action of the adhesive on the label sheet being locally cancelled by means of an agent. In order to be able selectively to adjust the effect of the adhesive force, provision is made for the agent to be given the shape of a fine pattern of lines or dots to cancel the effect of the adhesive, at least in a part-area of the label. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zum Herstellen von Selbstklebeetiketten mit einer an ihrer Rückseite mit Klebstoff beschichteten Etikettfolie und mit einer klebstoffabweisenden Trägerfolie, wobei die Wirkung des Klebstoffs auf der Etikettfolie örtlich durch ein Mittel aufgehoben wird. Um die Klebkraftwirkung gezielt einstellen zu können, ist vorgesehen, daß dem Mittel zum Aufheben der Wirkung des Klebstoffs zumindest in einem Teilbereich des Etiketts die Form eines feinen Musters aus Streifen oder Punkten verliehen wird.
