A silver sulfadiazine-containing agent for topical therapy of Herpes labialis, Herpes genitalis, Herpes corporis, shingles, chickenpox, Eczema herpeticatum and second- and third-degree burns in the field of human medicine, contains 0.01 to 10 wt. % of silver sulfadiazine, 0.01 to 10 wt. % of a polyhydric alcohol, 0.01 to 10 wt. % of a local anaesthetic, 70 to 99.9 wt. % of a gel preparation, where the quantities are expressed as percentages of the total weight.

Grades im Bereich der Humanmedizin enthält 0,01 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-% Silbersulfadiazin, 0,01 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-% eines mehrwertigen Alkohols, 0,01 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-% eines Lokalanästheticums, 70 Gew.-% bis 99,9 Gew.-% GEL-Präparation jeweils bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht des Mittels = 100.
