[origin: EP0326446A1] An auxiliary control and indicating unit (14) is placed next to and coupled up to a circuit-breaker unit, and encloses a first auxiliary interrupter (24) which reflects the open or closed position of the contacts of the circuit-breaker unit, and a second interrupter (26) for indicating opening on a fault. A mechanism (22) with handle (20) comprises a platen (62) with energy-storing spring (90), and a supporting lever (94) for the contact arm (48) associated with the second interrupter (26). A projection (104) engages with a control lever (106) in order to prevent any displacement of the supporting lever (94) upon manual opening of the circuit-breaker. <IMAGE>
