A ski boot with a shell (1) which has a sole (2) and at the rear a heel part (3) and which at the front, adapted to the shape of the foot, extends from the toe to approximately the instep region, with a rear flap (4) which is pivotable in relation to the shell and which together with a cuff, which is likewise pivotable in relation to the shell, and can be releasably connected to the rear flap by means of a closure device (8), forms at least a part of the shaft tube when the ski boot is closed. In this ski boot, there is provided above and at the side of the forefoot, forming at least one chamber (9) which is essentially sealed to the outside and delimited towards the bottom by the shell wall, additional walling (10) which is length-adjustable in the direction of the pivoting movement of the cuff (6), the walling of the shell (1) being divided into two flaps (20) in the instep region by means of a longitudinal slot (18), which flaps can be drawn together in the transverse direction by means of an adjusting device (34, 42). <IMAGE>

Ein Skischuh mit einer eine Sohle (2) aufweisenden Schale (1), die hinten einen Fersenteil (3) besitzt und sich vorne, der Fußform angepaßt, von der Spitze bis etwa in den Ristbereich erstreckt, mit einer bezüglich der Schale verschwenkbaren Heckklappe (4), die mit einer gleichfalls bezüglich der Schale verschwenkbaren, mit der Heckklappe mittels einer Verschlußeinrichtung (8) lösbar verbindbaren Manschette bei geschlossenem Skischuh zumindest einen Teil des Schaftrohres bildet. Bei diesem Skischuh ist oberhalb und seitlich des Vorderfußes unter Bildung mindestens einer nach außen im wesentlichen abgedichteten und nach unten von der Schalenwandung begrenzten Kammer (9) eine im Sinne der Verschwenkbewegung der Manschette (6) längenänderbare Zusatzwandung (10) vorgesehen, wobei die Wandung der Schale (1) im Ristbereich durch einen Längsschlitz (18) in zwei Lappen (20) geteilt ist, die mittels einer Verstelleinrichtung (34, 42) in Querrichtung zusammenziehbar sind.
