[origin: EP0326786A1] Secured to a wall is a fitting (2) with a flange (1) one end and a stem (3) sloping downwards at a suitable angle, to support a pear shaped soap tablet (7). Down the centre of the tablet is a blind hole (8) containing a sleeve (9) which is locked on the free straight end of the stem. The straight part has a slot (4) down it, for most of its length, for resilience. At the open end of the slot is an enlarged part (5) with a shoulder (6) at the rear. At the blind end of the hole in the tablet is a conical cap (10) giving a strong frictional connection with the stem.
