Abstract (en)
In a mechanical door stop for motor-vehicle doors, with a holder housing (7) fastened to one door arrangement part and with a door holding strip (1) fastened pivotably to the other door arrangement part, for the arbitrary fixing of the vehicle door in any opening position, it is proposed that the door holding strip have wide sides with a completely smooth surface and the braking or holding device arranged in the holder housing comprise at least one pressure element (9) arbitrarily adjustable perpendicularly to the plane of movement of the door holding strip and a braking or abutment element (10) arranged fixedly in the holder housing, whilst the braking or abutment element can be formed by a brake lining and the pressure element be formed by rigid mouldings or spring elements. <IMAGE>

Bei einem mechanischen Türfeststeller für Kraftwagentüren mit einem am einen Türanordnungsteil befestigten Haltergehäuse (7) und einem am anderen Türanordnungsteil schwenkbar befestigten Türhalteband (1) wird zur willkürlichen Festlegung der Fahrzeugtür in jeder beliebigen Öffnungslage vorgeschlagen, daß das Türhalteband völlig glattflächige Breitseiten aufweist und die im Haltergehäuse angeordnete Brems-bzw. Halteeinrichtung wenigstens ein willkürlich und senkrecht zur Bewegungsebene des Türhaltebandes verstellbares Andruckelement (9) und ein festehend im Haltergehäuse angeordnetes Brems-bzw. Widerlagerelement (10) umfasst, wobei das Brems-bzw. Widerlagerelement durch einen Bremsbelag und das Andruckelement durch starre Formkörper oder Federelemente gebildet sein können.
