Matched to the respective foundry sand quality established by means of a standard test piece using the Brinell ball impression method, flexible settings for a plurality of vibratory pressing phases are possible, in which a plurality of pressing surfaces, such as a frame of a press housing (12), a top plate (13), and a plurality of press rams (14) can be used individually or in groups, simultaneously or in succession with adjustable pressing forces.
