Abstract (en)
In order to switch a switch latch in a fitted installation switch, which switches off in the case of excess current, of electrical low-voltage distribution devices, especially in motor protection switches, means for manually switching off and for automatic tripping are arranged between a board and a chamber (12). For manually switching off, the switching-off force generated on a switch lever is transmitted onto a step (84) of a slide element (52) which can move in the direction of a ratchet element (44), until a ratchet lug (20) unlatches from the pivoting ratchet element (44) and is opened in a sudden manner by means of stored spring force. For automatic tripping, a trip ratchet (60) is pivoted by means of thermal or electromagnetic forces, until its tab (68) rests close to a tab (70) of a ratchet (44), which permits a pivoting movement of the ratchet (42) which is tensioned by spring force. This pivoting movement is transmitted to the ratchet element (44), as a result of which the ratchet lug (20) unlatches. The electrical contacts of the fitted installation switch are opened suddenly in the case of manual and automatic tripping. <IMAGE>

Zum Schalten eines Schaltschlosses in einem bei Ueberstrom abschaltenden Installationseinbauschalter von elektrischen Niederspannungsverteilungen, insbesondere in Motorschutzschaltern, sind zwischen einer Platine und einer Kammer (12) Mittel zum manuellen Abschalten und zur automatischen Auslösung angeordneten. Zur manuellen Abschaltung wird die an einem Schalthebel erzeugte Abschaltkraft auf eine Abstufung (84) eines in Richtung einer Klinke-Hand (44) verschiebbaren Schiebers-Hand (52) übertragen, bis eine Klinkenlasche (20) aus der schwenkenden Klinke-Hand (44) ausrastet und durch gespeicherte Federkraft sprunghaft geöffnet wird. Zur automatischen Auslösung wird durch thermische oder elektromagnetische Kräfte eine Auslöseklinke (60) geschwenkt, bis deren Nase (68) neben einer Nase (70) einer Klinke (44) liegt, was der mit Federkraft gespannten Klinke (42) eine Schwenkbewegung erlaubt. Diese wird auf die Klinke-Hand (44) übertragen, wodurch die Klinkenlasche (20) ausrastet. Bei der manuellen und der automatischen Auslösung werden die elektrischen Kontakte des Installationseinbauschalters sprunghaft geöffnet.
