[origin: EP0327527A2] The cutting members consist of knife blades (3) mounted so as to project on the surface of a drum (2), the blades (3) being mounted on pivots (8) so as each to be capable of pivoting in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the drum (2), the blades (3) being arranged so as to pass between the teeth (6) of a comb (5) when the drum is driven in a rotational movement about its longitudinal axis, and the drum (2) is coupled to a drive motor (4) capable of causing it to rotate at high speed.
