The connecting wires (17) spaced apart from the underside of the hotplate (2) are terminated on pins (19) with flat connector tongues (29) attached for insertion into their counterpart sockets (100) at the ends of the equipment wiring (34). An insulated body (32) fitted over the tongues (29) holds them over at least part of their length and forms a preassembled structural unit which can be moved from a storage position into a connection position. The resistive heating elements (7) have short termination pins (16) protruding from their insulation for connection to the wires (17), which are secured on both sides of feedthrough holes in a ceramic (e.g. steatite) insulator (20).

Eine Elektrokochplatte (1) weist von der Unterseite abstehende Anschlußdrähte (17) auf, deren Enden Anschlußstiffe (19) bilden und mit Steckstücken (29) in Form von Flachsteckzungen versehen sind, die allein durch Steckverbindungen mit Gegensteckern (100) von Geräteleitungen (34) verbunden werden können. Auf die Steckstücke (29) ist ein Isolierkörper (32) aufgesteckt, der wie die Steckstücke (29) eine vormontierte Baueinheit bildet und aus einer Stapellage in eine Anschlußlage überführt werden kann. Der jeweilige Gegenstecker kann durch eine Steckhülse mit in und entgegen Steckrichtung wirksamen Anschlägen gebildet sein, von denen einer selbsteinschnappend ausgebildet ist.
