Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0327855A2] A two-high rolling mill stand adjoining a continuous caster for steel strip is followed by a reversible set of bending-driving rollers to feed a coreless reeling machine with rollers arranged in a circle. A swivelling funnel can direct the emerging rolled strip into this machine. After its pass, this strip can be extracted and passed along bypass rollers a second time through the two-high rolling mill.
