[origin: EP0327942A2] The transportable, power-driven roundabout has at least two turntables (6, 7) which are arranged concentrically and storey-wise, rotate about a central mast (4) and are suspended via radial arms (8), arranged in the manner of spokes, on a rotating hub (5) arranged on the mast. In this case, at least one of the platforms (6, 7) has foldable or removable segments and the arms (8) are constructed as approximately L-shaped bent arms having a limb (8a) extending upwards from the hub (5) in the operating position and an adjoining limb (8b) which is approximately horizontal in the operating position. These arms are connected to the hub (5) so as to be swivellable in each case both vertically and horizontally. By this means, without substantial assembly work, the roundabout can be brought into a transport position with a small width which is permissible for road transport. <IMAGE>
