Abstract (en)
A cooking apparatus has, under a cooking region, a heating device consisting of an insulating material plate 3 and, lying thereon, a heating element 4. A metal vessel 6 placed on the cooking region is arranged by means of a metal detector 7 which is allocated outside a region covered by the heating element 4 and influences a control element for control of the electric circuit of the heating element 4. In order extensively to prevent disorders, a shielding shell 30, which has a suitable cutout 31 in the region of the metal detector 7, engages under the insulating material plate 3 with the heating element 4. Additionally, the metal detector 7 can be operated in pulsed manner, the heating element 4 being switched off for a short time during the duration of the pulse. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein Kochgerät weist eine Heizeinrichtung aus einer Isolierstoffplatte 3 und einem daraufliegenden Heizelement 4 unter einem Kochbereich auf. Ein auf den Kochbereich aufgesetztes Metallgefäß 6 wird mittels eines Metalldetektors 7 angeordnet, der außerhalb eines vom Heizelement 4 bedeckten Bereichs zugeordnet ist und ein Steuerelement zur Steuerung des Stromkreises des Heizelements 4 beeinflußt. Um Störungen weitgehend zur verhindern, ist die Isolierstoffplatte 3 mit dem Heizelement 4 von einer Abschirmschale 30 untergriffen, die im Bereich des Metalldetektors 7 einen angepaßten Ausschnitt 31 aufweist. Daneben kann der Metalldetektor 7 impulsweise betrieben werden, wobei das Heizelement 4 während der Impulsdauer kurzzeitig ausgeschaltet ist.
